Judy Weitekamp grew up in Independence, Kansas.  Some of her fondest memories are  of times spent with her grandparents, Hazel and W. J. Small, in nearby Neodesha.

Judy has three children and four grandchildren and lives in St. Petersburg, Florida.  She enjoys historical research and watercolor painting. A Hay Man’s Tale is her first book.
